A small municipality in Thüringen, Niederzimmern, had no money but plenty of potholes in its roads. While other communities despair, back in March, the mayor here had an idea: for fifty euros people can have their own pothole filled in, with a personal dedication on it. People and Politics took a look at what's become of the idea.
